The Mint
I sat in a room at a large, solid-wood round table looking across as four individuals drilled me with technical questions. As you may expect this was a bit intimidating. But this certainly was not my first time in a technical interview.
To the first three questions I replied, “I have no idea”. Although I think this may have shocked some of the interviewers it really was the right answer since it was true. The fourth question was a high lob and I knocked it out of the park. The rest of the interview pretty much went the same way and the very next week I was sitting in my new cubicle coding.
With 600+ employees this is by far the largest company I have ever worked for. I am genuinely excited to get in there and help make a difference. I even pushed some code out to production on my first day. I am happy and enjoying my new work environment.
My new team is composed of some smart and interesting people. I’m looking forward to everything this new environment has to teach me.
Also enjoying my new apartment complete with gym, pool and tennis courts.
